Since his mission of the Retrieval of teachings felt Trigiel a little lost in the force. It was time to seek guidance of a master, so he looked for master Qun Treen for help.

Padawan Trigiel found the Jedi Master where he was told to meet him. He sat on a slab of rough stone, meditating with his back to the door. The only feature of this room in the basement of the Jedi Temple was the rough slab of stone on which the Jedi master sat. There were no windows or lights, and it seemed the only light in the room came through the open door, painting a silhouette of padawan Trigiel on the opposite wall.

The Jedi master did not seem to react to Trigiel's entering of the room.

Trigiel walked quietly closer. Only the clacking of his metal feet disturbing the silence. As there was no other seat in the room, he sat down on the floor in cross legged position, angled towards the Jedi master.

"Padawan Trigiel", the master spoke, his voice heavily modulated by his breathing apparatus. "Speak your mind."

"Master, have you read the report of one of my previous missions, the retrieval of teachings?" The cyborg started, "My encounter with Malarika have left me with questions.

I know that we are warned for the dark side of the force, and that we should keep our anger in check, but every time I feel angry, I feel strong as well. When I encountered Malarika, she was so strong, so powerful. And yet, she was so unbalanced, her mind unstable. It was of her anger made her strong, but crazy as well.

Is that why we are warned against the dark side? Why we are told to keep our anger in check? That our anger could make us strong, but too insane to control our power?"

The Jedi Master remained silent for a while, not showing any indication of attention. A minute later, he spoke.

"You confuse feeling with having."

"When you feel strong, do you have power?"

"I... don't know. I haven't had the change to actually test it yet." Trigiel sounded a bit unsure about this. "However, I am more persistent and determined." The second part was spoken with much more confidence.

"Is your determination caused by your anger, or because of the thing you are angry about?"

Trigiel could hear a long slow breath with a slight metallic tint.

"I think you should be careful not to confuse your anger with the cause of your anger. it is natural to become angry when someone harms the about things that you value, or when someone oversteps the boundaries of your personal beliefs. For you, you might cope with what caused your anger by being persistent and determined about what you belief is right.

Yet, this determination is not caused by the anger itself, but by what cause this anger in the first place."

Another breath gave Trigiel some time to let the words of the master sink in.

"Emotion, yet peace.

You should not let your anger guide you, but you should not suppress your anger lest it will fester and consume you."

"Passion, yet serenity.

Be able to admit that you are angry, but recognize when your actions are not longer guided by your beliefs."

Trigiel heard a soft breath from the breathing apparatus of the master, with almost no metallic hint.

"I advice you to think on this. Revisit your anger and set your mind to review how it changed you. If you have more questions, I will be here."

Trigiel sad for a while, thinking about what master Qun Treen told. "Thank you master, this has clarified a lot for me. I shall meditate further on this to come in peace with my anger."

With that, Trigiel stood up, bowed for the master and left the room with the clanking of his metal feet on the floor.
