((OOC: Your action was very vague for me and it was quite unclear what you were actually doing, so I interpreted it as you were trying to find out whether or not the woman was involved for which I provided a clue that you could then use to interrogate the woman. At your request, I will do my best to fulfill what I interpret to be your actions.))
"What's your name?" Ajava inquired of the Zabrak woman, kneeling down on one knee next to her and petting her on the shoulder to comfort her.
The woman looked suspicious at the jedi, refusing to answer the question.
"Who is he? What is your relationship?" she continued her line of questioning, giving a stern but fair glance from her Veolian eyes into the woman's. Interpreting the position the woman had had in front of the Falleen man, she was pretty sure they were sexually involved, stirring up conflicting feelings in the Jedi.
Outside, blue and red lights flashed as the Security Forces hoover van moved in, the Wookie and the two humans being taken into the prisoner hoover-van.
"You two seemed to be 'getting along' quite nicely. Perhaps you are both guilty?" Ajava inquired, taking out her lightsaber and slapping it in her hand forcefully.
Despite her efforts, the woman remained silent, defiance in her eyes. This wasn't a weak woman who was a victim or a pretty thing on the side - this was a strong woman who wasn't scared of being arrested, a separated part of Ajava's brain told her.
"I think you should be more cooperative..." the Veolian woman's eyes darkened as her lightsaber grew to its full length, the light casting three shadows on the walls, one for each of the suspects and Ajava herself. "Let me remind you you are trapped in a room with a Jedi. A Jedi armed with a weapon that can easily dismember you.
Before she could repeat her question or ask another one, the Falleen man - the person Ajava had not been focussing her interrogation on at all - seemed to break.
"It was all her! I wasn't involved at all!"
Ajava smiled and turned to the man, her lightsaber just barely avoiding slicing off a vital part of his anatomy as she turned - it had been accidental but regardless it intimidated the guy even more.
"Does she own the car outside? Or do you?" she inquired.
"She does! Its all her!" he explained.
"Does she own a datapad?" Ajava inquired. She immediately realised that was the wrong question as the guy looked confused. Of course she owned a datapad, everyone and their mother did - it was just too convenient a tool to not own it. Confused the man nodded, but that didn't provide the Veolian Jedi with much information.
Fortunately, Ajava sensed something in the force at this point, drawing her to a small cabinet. Without worrying about traps, she opened the drawer to find a datapad inside. A very, very pink datapad.
"Ariana" Ajava inquired "Can you get me an exact reading on the location of the fourth datapad?"
Ariana got out her own, swiping some sliders and pushing buttons.
"Its in your room..." Ariana replied.
"I need something more exact. I have a datapad here, I need to know if its the one we are looking for."
"Can you read me the WIS-ID? You should be able to find it in the network menu."
Fortunately, Ajava was skilled enough with computers to get Ariana the information she needed.
"Yes, that is definitely the datapad we're looking for."
Satisfied with this information, Ajava continued her interrogation.
"Do you know what's going on here?" she inquired of the woman, though the Falleen man answered instead.
"You're arresting her and letting me go free...?" he stated hopefully
Ajava nodded. "You are free to go. Clearly you're not involved and she is." It was a partial bluff, hoping the woman would open her mouth and accuse the guy in turn so she could arrest both of them.
It did not turn out that way and the woman kept her mouth shut - it was probably the smart thing to do, especially since it foiled Ajava's plan and now that her bluff had been called, she had no choice to let the guy go - since he was probably innocent, it wouldn't be too bad and they could always arrest him later since being marked as a witness, security forces would keep an eye on him.
Soon the woman too was taken to the van, handcuffed and taken in.
The group could now interrogate the suspects further at the security forces station (perhaps the humans and Wookie would be more inclined to help), investigate the datapad (it might contain valuable evidence) or investigate elsewhere (though no clue as to where would be reasonable was available).

Shebi Ajava - PC
((OOC: Me and Mercury cleared up the vagueness. The post above was slightly adjusted in collaboration. Thanks for the cooperation Mercury!))
After arriving at the security station, Ajava quickly discussed the situation with her team mates.
"Ariana, could you have a closer look at the datapads?"
Turning to Trigiel, she looked very serious, almost too serious.
"Trigiel. Would you enjoy being the bad cop?", it was clear she was joking, as her expression quickly into a smile, "I have no trouble being the bad cop, you can be the good cop of you like."
If the padawan agreed, she would take on the role of good (or bad, depending on Trigiel's choice) and start the interrogation.

After collecting all the datapads from the compounds and retrieving any other data sources that she could find Ariana returned to the security forces station.
Ariana started checking all the data and log files on the datapads and other data sources to look for additional information and suspicious activity.

"Why do you assume I want to be the bad cop?" Trigiel said indignantly, then: "sure I like to be the bad cop." With some joy in his voice.
To get some more information before the interregation of the female supposed leader, Trigiel started with the humans and the wookie. They were probably a lot easier to persuade into talking and maybe they would say something nice they could use against the female.
"I probably need a translator for the wookie though, and maybe even for the humans, so be sure you capture everything on camera. "Ajava, I go first for the silent treatment, then if they refuse to talk you can enter."
Trigiel gave the tree lower suspects Teal'c's interrogation lesson 101: The silent treatment. He entered the room without saying anything, sat down and stared at the suspect with a dark red eye and his upper 4 headflaps slightly extended. If they wouldn't say enough, Trigiel bowed slightly closer to them and opened his armpockets, revealing his two lightsabers. That should made them more talkative.
The woman was probably a lot harder to interrogate so the silent treatment wouldn't work. There he immediately went for the bad cop, using his alien look and metal body for intimidation and his metal fist to slam extra hard on the table. Letting Ajava be the nice and gentle person.
((Check: 9 = 5 Force Level + 4 Reason -- for interrogation, asking the right questions (to the woman)))
((OOC: I assume every suspect is kept separately, if not, then Trigiel made sure they were at the moment of arrest.))

Mercury - Storyteller
Ariana began the laborous process of analysing the datapad. Close investigation revealed that this was indeed the datapad that had been used by the fourth person. It contained navigation data to the location as well as precision GPS software to allow the linedrawing to be coordinated.
Interestingly, Ariana also found various holomails detailing unrelated criminal dealings, deleted of course but she was able to restore them. None of the crimes were major: hoover car-theft, wire fraud, the sort of thing small time criminals kept busy with, but it would be enough to put the woman away for a while.
The interrogation progressed quite nicely and Shebi and Trigiel's plans paid off. The woman was a professional criminal. A small time one, but a pro. She kept her mouth shut, knowing it could only hurt her in court.
But her companions were not as intelligent and the two Jedi working together quickly got them to crack. Apparently their group had been contacted by an unknown figure, who had paid them a large sum of money, in cash, to paint the marking.
Unfortunately they weren't sure who the person doing the hiring was, but they had paid more then enough for them not to bother asking questions. The meetings had been face to face so there was no electronic record.
In fact, all they could tell the Jedi for certain was that whomever had hired them was a Veolian, likely from the Veolian underworld, given how they were contacted. It gave some indication as to the culprits, but it appeared this was the end of the line for now. Information that they didn't know couldn't be coerced out of them, even using the Force.
And thus it seemed that the investigation would end with the arrest of the guilty parties, leaving an unsatisfied tingling pointing towards Veolia...
((OOC: For this story, we wrap up here. However there may be future opportunities to investigate more on this topic.
The next step would be for you three to draw up the storyline document and then we can give out some rewards, because I believe you three succeeded excellently and deserve it!))

Ariana had nothing to add to the report.
"Such a extensive report for such a small incident. I have nothing more to add."

The minister was well pleased with the report, sending each of the Jedi a formal letter stating her appreciation for the swift and decisive manner in which this issue was resolved.
((OOC: Report looks great, better than I had expected even! All three of you have earned a skill point, to be spent on a skill of your liking!
I want to add I thought the short story was quite successful, and I will be using this format again in the future.))
