[Darones Rei]

Darones was glad that the Mandalorians had proven predictable as they reached the surface and were faced with a bunch of them all aiming their rifles. As Darones used both his sabers to fend off shots, he ushered the Sheller towards the stack of crates, that conveniently shielded their exit from to much fire..

"Go, make for those crates of there," He said as the Sheller froze up a bit, "hurry, we don't have much time." Darones made sure that he adjusted his pace to that of the Sheller in order to keep him safe. With T'Sal clearing their way just in front, they should be fine.

Knowning that the Sith was just gonna let them get away cleanly, Darones also needed to keep an eye out for him and he tried to deflect as much rifle fire towards him in order to hinder him in his movement, hoping that would buy them what little time they needed to reach safety.

T'sal scouts off ahead and clears the way. She stealthy moves from crate to crate using it for cover and hiding. T'sal uses her arm length to make long slashes around the corner to take done any warrior in her way.

((OOC: There's some errors in the various checks and usages of the combat rules, but in this case they are not really relevant, so I shall skip over them and get to the action instead.))

T'sal cleared a path, cutting her way through several Mandalorians as she cleared the way for Darones and the Sheller. From behind the crates to the hallway to the docking bay where there ship was one of the many that had landed on the ice encrusted world.

Darones meanwhile kept his circle of shelter tight on himself the Sheller, blocking various shots from the Mandalorian soldiers, pausing only for a moment to use his access device and open the ship so T'sal and the Sheller could get inside.

Without waiting for approval, the young Jedi jumped into the pilot seat and blasted off from the surface. Defences here weren't designed to stop smugglers - on the contrary, this place welcomed them - so there was little to stop them from making a quick getaway.

Below them, the warrior they had faced looked up at their ship disappearing, the red lightsaber deactivating. His mission had failed, and there would no doubt be consequences for that.


The small vessel now carrying the Jedi and the Sheller was quick enough to outrun the much heavier Mandalorian vessels that patrolled the sector, and soon the Jedi found their way back to Union space, joining up with the Union fleet and bringing in both the Sheller and the information they had received. There was a whole lot there. The Sheller, after expressing gratitude to both of them, returned to Unity for a full debriefing.

((OOC: As you have managed to escape the planet with the intel and the Sheller, I think this concludes the storyline! In accordance with the new XP system, I will give you both 3 xp for the mission, to be added upon completion of the mission report!
