[ Sector 9 -4 ] Capture of Mandalorian ships
-

Darones Rei - PC
"You can tell the captain, his ship is going nowhere now.." Darones told T'Sal after he got out of his hiding place. "I'll go and check for any structural damage or fires, why don't you just walk up to the bridge and tell them to surrender."
And with that Darones made a round through the back of the ship, making sure the hull was intact and no major structural damage was left unattended. If needed he would erect emergency shielding to further strenghten weakened spots of the ship's superstructure.

Shebi Ajava - PC
Ajava looked at the captain. She didn't expect him to actually surrender.
"Very well. Captain, recall your evacuating troops and power down all weapons systems."
Then, she used her own communcator to contact the Ready in Eight Directions: "This is Shebi Ajava. I have take command of the Shaksii 3, and request additional troops to take over all critical functions. I will have the vessel approach the fleets with weapons powered down.
Please contact me when troops are available. Oh, and commander, send an additional two vessels for off the record transport of captives."
Then, she oversaw the operations on the bridge of the Mandalorian vessel. Even though she didn't speak the language, she tried to get a basic grasp of what was going on.
((Check: 12 = 8 Force Level + 3 Reason + 1 Military Command -- Trying to get an idea of what people are doing (mainly checking whether they are actually doing what she wants)))

T'sal, you are taking a lot of checks, but I don't see another way to express your ideas without holding up the mission as well. Ajava
It appeared that the captain stayed true to his word, and as far Ajava could tell, the weapon systems were powering down and the escape pods landed in the hanger bays.
Later, the Ready in Eight Directions found itself docked with the Shaksii 3 just near the edge where asteroid field meets open space. Veolian soldiers swarmed the Shaksii 3 taking control over the necessary systems and eliminating any remaining Mandalorians who preferred a glorious fight to the death over surrender.
A repair crew tried to install a make-shift hyperdrive system, but this would take time as the original hyperdrive was seriously fried and beyond repair.
T'Sal
It seemed that the soldiers were expecting the lights to go dark, so they didn't needed much time to set their helm visors to night vision mode. However, they didn't expected the bucket move at all. Once the flash light moved around the corner, some confused soldiers started to fire at the flash light. This fire caused enough confusion around the soldiers, that some others just started to shoot hostages. Despite their night vision, the bright laser shots made that the Mandalorian soldiers had trouble actually seeing. T'Sal sneaked in and successfully took down the first soldiers. Between all this chaos, the soldiers who appeared to be in charge tried to bring the rather randomly firing soldiers back to order, but T'Sal activating her lightsaber made the chaos complete.
While the Hiocan Padawan was cutting down soldiers in a high pace, some soldiers pulled out their last tricks: Four thermal detonators flew through the air landing close to T'Sal. Even though she quickly cut down two of them, she had to jump away before the other two detonated. Luckily, T'Sal was just outside the blast radius and escaped unharmed. However, some hostages were not so lucky and were caught right in the middle of the explosions. It was too dark to see, but T'Sal felt a burst of their burning agony which then faded away, leaving nothing behind but a black feeling of pain and death.
After a fight with a lot of flashing lights, a humming lightsaber, explosions and a lot of people dying, only a few soldiers were left. T'Sal her outcry for surrender seemed not to help, and the last remaining soldiers preferred to fight to the death.
With the last soldier here fallen, T'Sal stood between piles of death soldiers, shot hostages, burned people and a whole bunch of scared people afraid that they would die any moment now.
The bridge was clear to enter. When T'Sal looked inside, she saw that there was nobody. The control panels silently were showing all kinds of data, and through the windows, T'Sal saw the remaining of the fight between the other ships, which appeared to have calmed down to a small exchange of fire so now and then. Rocks silently flowed around. It all was creating a silent and somewhat beautiful picture of asteroids, stars and lights on the background of an empty bridge which was waiting for input.
Darones
Darones Rei surveyed the ship to check for damage but some areas were way to hot to enter. During his walk, Darones opened a door to yet another hallway. He felt a small airflow coming out of the hall, and the moment later, he realised that he was out of air! He could breath but the air simply seemed to lack any oxygen. With his last breath, Darones shot down the hallway door and rolled back to where he came from. It looks like the fire used all oxygen in some parts of the ship he realised while he was taking some deep breaths of delicious oxygenated air. This should be automatically fixed over time by the live support systems, but this would take a while, given that the life support systems were indeed intact.
Knowing what to expect, Darones carefully continued to check the status of the ship and made any necessary repairs. In the end, he concluded that the whole rear part of the ship was fried. Life support systems were all down there, and some heavy duty maintenance to the supportive structure and main propulsion system was required together with a new hyperdrive in order to get this ship out of here. There was no power at the moment to erect shields either, as all emergency power right now went to cool down the ship in order to make everything accessible again.
All three jedi were contacted by the Titan Centurion Diamond "Jedi, the space battle is over. We have eliminated the Mandalorian fighters. Both Auxilia Harbinger of Diamonds and Auxilia Harbinger of Platinum have reported successfully taking control over the Shaksii 1 and 2 and are holding till we have cleared the two ships of all hostilities. We are currently moving in our soldiers to take complete control of the Mandalorians vessels, and will be docking with the Mining vessel shortly."
The Union vessels were moving alongside the Mandalorian vessels in order to dock with them and to take control over the ships.
((OOC: I like to finish this mission. If you want to do anything, this is your last chance, else I will move you back to the Ready in Eight Directions for mission debriefing))

Darones Rei - PC
"Acknowledged commander," Darones said as he answered the hail from the Titan Centurion Diamond "The damage to the rear compartments of the ship is substantial however, the supporting superstructure will require heavy duty maintenance and most sections have no viable life support. Make sure that your men proceed with caution, the emergency systems are still functioning but it will take quite some work to restore full life support. Propulsion systems and the hyperdrive are also out, as is main power and shielding, this ship isn't going anywhere for quiet some time. I'll keep monitoring the situation until your men arrive. My recommendation however would be to salvage what technology and data we can, and then scuttle the ship."
And with that last statement Darones went back to a workstation that was still functioning and started forwarding a data stream to the Aurora, gathering as much data as he could access on the ships systems, telemetry, research data and duty logs.

Shebi Ajava - PC
In the chaos of combat, Ajava quickly backtracked her route and knocked out the sexy cooks and the hunky soldiers, making sure they were apprehended and put on one of the off-the-record transports. Once the ship has been taken, she hitches a ride to the Ready in Eight Directions to oversee the final actions of capturing the Mandalorian vessels.
She also contacts the two padawan: "Padawan Rei, Padawan T'Sal, you will return to the Ready in Eight Directions as soon as Union troops have secured the mining vessel. You will not think up other things that require your assistance, and you will not delay."
After the two padawan returned, Ajava was already waiting to speak to them when they stepped off the shuttle.
"Padawan T'Sal", Ajava's voice was clear but cold, "you are confined to your quarters for the rest of the day. You will meditate about the foolishness of coming along on missions in space if you are incapable of pilotting even a simple shuttle, and you will think about the dangers you put others in if you do not inform them of your inability to perform such basic duties. But, above that, you will think about a reason why you did not inform me and your fellow padawan of this lack in your education the moment we met. I expect you to have a reason at the end of the day!"
If T'Sal thought that Ajava was being harsh, this was quickly corrected when she heard the tone of voice used towards Darones.
"Padawan Rei", Ajava's anger was barely contained, "Not only are you confined to your quarters because you are incapable of following the simpelest of orders, you are not allowed any contact with anyone for the rest of the mission. You will meditate in solitude on your error and the danger you put dozens of fighter pilots and soldiers in. When we return to Unity, we shall discuss your irresponsible behaviour...", Ajava paused for a moment, "And I will determine how this affects your further education as my padawan."
Ajava looked at both padawan with a stern expression until they left her sight.

Darones Rei - PC
Right after the replacementcrew had come in and Darones was shipped back the carrier, he realised that he actually didn't want to face Ajava, knowing he would get a serious reprimand for his earlier actions. But he had little choice..
At first Darones thought about talking back after Ajava had vented her anger, and he opened his mouth to speak.. but then he realised that she was right, his actions had placed others in more danger then necessary. So instead he looked down at his feet, feeling a bit uneasy and said only.. "Yes, Master.."
And so he left to meditate, not wishing to anger his master any further by defying her wishes now..

T'Sal - PC
T'sal takes a look at the data on the control panels on the bridge. She then goes to the captain sets and start a communication line to the Union fleets.
"This is T'sal speaking. Darones and I have eliminated the Mandalorian warriors and taken out the power and engine. We have now control over the ship. Could you come and take us in."
T'sal hears the message of miss Shebi and feels a bit troubled. But as she has to wait before beeing picked up, she takes a final look at the control panels and checks the system one final time if there might be a booby trap before leaving. She wants to make sure all the data and the ships can be salvaged.
((Check: 13 = 7 Force Level + 5 Intuition + 1 Slicing -- Checking if system is save and not corrupted.))
Once T'sal is back on the Ready in Eight Directions she gets lectured by miss Shebi, but Darones gets worse. She looks at miss Shebi and then goes to her room. Beeing told that her education lacks is quite a shock. She goes of to meditate.
T'sal does not know how to pilot as she is still an adolescent and not allowed to drive according to Hiocan laws. Hiocan get Millitairy training once the get off age. Darones younger but he is a pilot. There are quite some cultural differences. Miss Shebi is right that T'sal is in experienced in these matters and does not know what to do. As a Jedi T'sal will need to be able to do all sorts of things as her missions can take her anywhere. She needs to know al least the basics. T'sal stops her meditation and start making an list of all the things she needs to learn and make a training schedule.

T'Sal found a nasty piece of programming that would automatically shut down and lock all systems when activated. Luckily the program was not complicated and was removed quickly without problems.
The Mandalorian crew members Ajava selected were quickly put in off the record transport ships and moments later the prisoners were en-route. No questions were asked.
When T'sal and Darones were done meditating over their mistakes, all three jedi were gathered at the bridge of the Ready in Eight Directions. The holotable displayed a scene where Veolian and Praetorian ships were docked with the Mandalorian cruisers. Repair drones were busy working on the Mandalorian mining vessel's rear, while the Titan Centurion Diamond was docked with it.
The captain of the Veolian vessel stood at the table with a perfectly straight back: "Padawan Darones Rei, Padawan T'Sal," he greeted, "I was just explaining to jedi admiral Shebi Ajava the situation of the aftermath: On the Mandalorian side: All vessels are in Union control now. We managed to capture 1292 Mandalorians so far, the rest fought to their death. 3 Mandalorian fighter wings are captured with tractor beams, the rest of the wings and the bombers are destroyed. We are currently working to make emergency repairs to the Shaksii 3 and the mining vessel. Darones' data is a great help in stabilizing the hull I might add. However both vessels' hyperdrives are inoperable, so we will tow them with this carrier and the Praetorian destroyer. The ride will be unpleasant, but we will have the ships in our control. My men are currently arranging for specialised tugboats, which will probably meet us at the edge of sector 9 -5, where they will take over so we can go back to the real fight for the Azaryan homeworld.
Our fleet has lost 5 fighter wings; Right Wing, Anna Wing, Turbo, DJ and Tesserarius Blood Emeralds. We are currently counting the deaths and wounded of our crew members and are currently reaching the 100. Our ships have taken some damage to the shields and hulls, but nothing to serious and our ships are ready to go any moment.
I suggest you take a look at the holotable for more detailed information."
The holotable had a nice table with detailed information about the status of each ship.
That moment, Master Monifa contacted the jedi.

That moment, Master Monifa contacted the jedi.
"Greetings, I just received word that your mission was successful. All ships captured but two ships with damaged hyperdrives I heard. We aren't totally loss-free, but some damage was to be expected.
As far I heard thus far, you three did a good job out there. I expect a full report from you soon."
If nobody had to say anything, Monifa terminated the connection again.
((OOC: Good job, you managed to capture all ships and only 2 which are damaged. When you deliver a report, I give you your reward ;).))

After that, Ajava spent the rest of the day writing up the report.

((OOC: I have looked into the report, but I have two issues at this moment. One: It is a little too subjective. Especially the 'Darones was a little too enthusiastic' part. Second: The part 'Darones had to eject the hyperdrive' is not true. The hyperdrive exploded, not ejected. There was a big sea of fire and stuff because the hyperdrive was still in its place instead of ejected.))
