There was unfortunately no security footage of the event - in fact, camera's outside had been turned off to protect the privacy of wealthy donors, who did not appreciate their names being known, lest they face billions of charities begging for money. Nathan did not have a guest list either. Fortunately, the woman was quite helpful:

"The stars mark special dietary requirements. As I am sure you understand darlings, the serving staff need to know who they serve any special meals to. After all, we would not want to get any mix-ups. Those droids are so silly and foolish and it is just impoooooosible to get good help these days!"

She continued without taking a breath "Naturally I also got you all the menu."

Suddenly, Trigiel attention was caught by the name Fecta Jor, this was a highly unusual name to say at least. Probably someone who used a fake name, as no Consult in their right mind would call a new born 'Jor'.

Nathan didn't recognise any names. Then again his eldest sister was always the one to attend the high class social gatherings, while he and Miranda rather did other things.

"Who is responsible for making sure the special meals end up with the correct persons? Surely someone is overseeing the actions of the droids?"

"I oversee them myself, darling, I know, it is a terrible fate for me, but alas I must. Of course we started some ten minutes later than usual. The beetles have to go up from the kitchen still boiling, and then they cool down in the pre-serving area, but the cook did not estimate the cooldown times accurately so we had to wait for a bit before we could serve them." she explained "And then one of the cleaning staff called in sick. Its not a problem yet, but once everything is done, we'll have some grumpy cleaners and of course I get to deal with that as well, you would think we were still in the times of chaos with droids being so slow they cannot properly clean up before morning that we have to... oh, sorry, I do believe I was rambling darlings..."

The woman laid the back of her wrist on her forehead "Life is hard."

Nathan checked the time to get an estimate when former Chancellor Bol'var and his wife left.

Nathan could not be entirely sure, but from the time of the events and compensating for travel time, they probably left around 19.00

"Did you get a replacement for the sick cleaning staff? I would imagine that your job would get so much harder without..."

[Mercury]

"Oh I wish I could, but security does not allow me to bring in last minute replacements. They were already being difficult about replacing Dylan Counsil with Michtar Nozzer, and then when that lovely blue hunk left with his wife, and this Trina'schin Lvar took their place - well, that was okay, because that woman is his personal assistant and she stayed to give the Ngyx family a presence during the rest of the dinner, so that was kind of them anyway. You can just imagine how happy they were when Unity City Security suddenly arrived en-mass!

"Was any of the food served before 1900 hours unfit for consumption by Rodians?" Nathan asked Trigiel.

"Unfit!?" the woman seemed offended "Darling, nothing we serve here is unfit!"

"I don't know, Nathan, I don't know the diet requirements for Rodians."

"This is Master Screetor calling Shebi Ajava. I have a message for you from Unity City Security." It looked like Ajava's attempt to make peace with the security force might have paid off!
