Ajava, Nathan and Trigiel had gotten the call just moments ago and they were quite unsure what exactly they were being sent out to. Regardless, they had followed instructions, heading to the Grand Mesa Hotel in the centre of Unity City. When they arrived, they found the hotel lit up in flashing blue and red lights, security pacing about in various places. A security guard waved them in. "The central hallway" he indicated with his hairy wookiee paw. ((OOC: Give me some introductions ^_^))
"Hello, can you tell me what's this all about?" Trigiel asked.
Nathan walked in and snapped a salute.

Shebi Ajava - PC
Ajava was slightly annoyed at the sudden interruption of the quiet watch so far. Wearing her brown jedi cloak, Ajava confidently continued on in the indicated direction while remaining silent, not wanting to waste time with a guard.
"Padawan Nathan Miodrass Asillion reporting as ordered."

Shebi Ajava - PC
Ajava greeted both padawan with a nod.
"Oh hello Nathan, Master Shebi Ajava" Trigiel greeted

"You'd best see for yourself Sir." the Wookiee replied, saluting Nathan as he stepped past. Moving inside past the lobby, the Jedi found the central hallway brightly lit by the warm yellow ceiling lamps, illuminating the aftermath below. Passing holoprojectors used to lay the security line, the Jedi approached a gruesome scene, passing by two paramedics who were cleaning up the equipment they had been using and a wookie dressed as a bell-boy being interviewed by security.
The blue skin of the Rodian corpse laying on the ground contrasted strongly with the red blood, presumably his, spread out over his mouth and chest, his stained clothing torn open to expose his aging body. Holding the lifeless right hand of the body was a Rodian woman of similar age.
"Ah, you are finally here." a commander from Unity City Security stepped up to the Jedi. "Don't bother with the paperwork, I knew it would be Jedi juris-my-dick-tion the moment I heard the name of the victim."

"And who exactly is the victim, officer?"

Shebi Ajava - PC
Ajava ignored the security chief's insult, and walked over to the corpse.
Trigiel looked instinctively up to see the balcony scenery.

The man motioned to the corpse lying on the ground. "Former Chancellor Bolv'ar." ((OOC: Clarification: this is in the hallway of the hotel. There is no balcony.))

((OOC: Great. There goes my leader of the Djana Research Center. Nice of you to check that first...))
-

Shebi Ajava - PC
Without touching anything, Ajava inspected the corpse and the surroudings. She paid attention to wounds, possible places to hide weapons, and people around that aren't supposed to be watching. ((Check: 12 = 8 Force Level + 4 Vision -- ))
"..." Trigiel was silent for a moment "what was he doing here? Shouldn't he be in Veolian space?"
"Preliminary cause of death?"

Mercury - Storyteller
((OOC: I'm sorry whomever murdered him inconvenienced your research center ^_^ As I understood it though, Bolv'ar was still my NPC.)) The area was just a boring hallway, not many places to hide things. Perhaps the potted plant over yonder, but really that would be too obvious. Besides security, there was the bellboy further ahead, the victims wife and two paramedics cleaning up their things. Perhaps they knew something. "We did not yet have a chance to investigate, but perhaps the paramedics know something."
