((OOC: Wut, I just noticed I attacked baldy in my previous combat block, but my post was described as I attacked scarface (to prevent him from claiming the combat style advantage action). Apparently I made a clerical error and said I attacked baldy in my combat block O.o. Ah well, all is fine, lets just assumed Trigiel indeed attacked baldy and get on with it :).))

Seeing how Ajava managed to cut the lightsaber of scarface in half, Trigiel wanted to finish him to bring the numbers back in their favour. Additionally, Ponytail would have a hard time flanking when Scarface wasn't there to help flanking.

Waiting with a trained combat patience, Trigiel lets Baldy trying to make his move. Just when Baldy makes a decisive big swing, Trigiel hit the poles on which one of the solar panels is resting, making it collapse. The large object falling severely hinders Baldys attack options, making his attack much harder to land precisely. At the same time, Trigiel uses the cover of the falling panel to safely move towards Scarface.

The cyborg padawan rolls towards Scarface the same time the panel falls, dodging Baldy. With a fluent move, Trigiel cut of both the hands of Scarface. Rending him incapable of further combat without killing the guy.

As she tries to recover from her previous manoeuvre, Ajava lashes out at the retreating scarface with her regular blade, slicing through his torso from the bottom-left to the upper-right.

As scarface's corpse flops onto the roof inelegantly, Ajava turns her attention onto Ponytail. Having given him a few steps towards the edge, she remembers a previous fight and opts for another dangerous gambit: she deftly steps forward as she parries his next attack with her dagger blade. Using the even shorter range of her dagger to her advantage with her next parry, she steps even closer with her next attack.

The third attack, she parries with her regular blade held up high. As she does so, she uses her connection with the force to swiftly step into his personal space. Almost pushing herself against him, she matches his every move.

With her regular blade and his short blade locked in the air, the pair seems more like dancers. This close in, even his short blades are near to useless, and her dagger blade requires very little movement to be lethal. "You're definitely better-looking than that corpse", she purrs as she looks him in the eyes, "Pity you won't last long either."

The jedi's ship made a low pass overhead. Bob had made good time, clearly he had been on standby when Ariana had called. Bob manoeuvred the ship to block the other ship from leaving easily. The other ship tried to move away and create some distance between the ships. They where well within the advised minimum safe distance, much closer then any sane person would fly. The other ship turned in place, now facing the rooftop the jedi and sith where fighting on. In that position the ramp of the cargo hold of the ship opened. The figure of a person in a blue cloak could be seen standing behind it.

((OOC: I was slightly unsure what I should do with this. From my perspective it seems like the actions you take conflict with one another. On their own they are fine but using them on the same opponent at the same time would lead to problems. Also, Ajava attacks one opponent but then claims an advantage action on another but that is another matter. Because the two of you are taking conflicting actions both your checks are denied.))

Ajava's lightsaber sliced clean through Scarface, killing him on the spot. Turning to Ponytail she attempts her dangerous gambit. At that moment Ariana charged in from the side. Only thanks to their jedi reflexes where they able to avoid hurting each other. While Ajava still managed to regain her balance, both their moves failed.

Ponytail didn't seem to care that his ally was killed. Moving with high speed he turns to attack Ariana. While he attacks he slices through one of the building's air-conditioning coolant-pipes. a jet of smoke shoots out from the pipe. Ponytail vanishes in the cloud of smoke that forms.

((OOC: You need to overcome three rings to cut off someone's arms. You only overcame two rings for scarface. I'm inclined to approve your defensive DCA, however you have already used the solarpanels for a defensive advantage action in a similar fashion. Since you already have done this action for another bonus I'm afraid your check is denied.))

Trigiel's attempt to use the solarpanels in his defence didn't work out as he planned. Baldy wasn't stupid, he sliced through the solarpanel Trigiel tried to use. The unexpected drop of the solarpanel tripped Trigiel, causing him to lose balance! In addition Baldy was no longer off balance, Trigiel was going to need help fast!

"Ariana, I've got this! Go stop the runner from escaping!", Ajava calls out at Ariana as she recovers from their combined fumble.

Seeing ponytail focus his attacks on Ariana and cut open one of the coolant pipes, Ajava quickly moves in to capitalize on his expectations and finish him off.

Knowing that ponytail will be counting on the smoke to hide his exact position, Ajava uses her connection with the Force to negate the bad visibility and surprise Ponytail with an accurate attack. She attacks his side with her regular saber, it is a normal sweep attack that is an expected manoeuvre against difficult to locate opponents. Being able to see him through the smoke, combined with her knowledge of how he would behave if he thinks himself cloaked in smoke, she surprises him with a very accurate and fast stab to the heart with her dagger blade.

"Trigiel, go help Ariana, I've got him!", she shouts out as she charges towards Baldy.

On the other note: I believe we do our fair best to work together for as much you can expect from our characters :)

Also, my advantage action was to use the potential for the solar panels to fall, with the idea that Baldy would not cut the solar panels down to bring himself in disadvantage. (You cannot attack very well when there is a wall falling between you and your target). In my DCA, I actually cut down the solar panel. Meaning that my advantage action is using positioning, and my DCA is using changing of terrain.

Anyway, so far my rant :) You are the storyteller, so you are in your complete right to make your calls (as long as you don't unjustly kill my character :).))

@Trigiel: I won't kill a PC that isn't my own, but I'd rather avoid having to use a deus ex machina. Without help it's unlikely Trigiel would win without. I had expected earlier switching of opponents, leading to more fair fights.

@Ajava: Why are you attacking a dead guy? Last time I checked scarface hadn't come back as a zombie.))

Ariana is a little bit confused by Shebi Ajava since Trigiel is in trouble and the running man is actually just a sitting man that is waiting for the rest to finish the fight...

Ariana fends off the attacks from ponytail with precision. Keeping her head cool and attempting not to lose her advantage.

Ariana makes a judgement call and decides to help Trigiel instead, since the running man is not going anywhere. Seeing that Trigiel and baldy made a mess of the area that they were fighting in Ariana decided to used the rubble to attack Baldy.

While Ariana stormed towards Baldy she lifted multiple loose parts of the solar panels with her telekinetic power. Just before reaching Baldy she jumped into the air and lifted her regular blade above her head to make a strong swing with it. Pushing the flying rubble towards Baldy with a powerful force burst. While crashing down onto him just after the burst of rubble she slashes him with her regular blade followed by a stab from her dagger blade.

"Masters, shouldn't we keep one alive for interrogation?" Trigiel says once he sees how eagerly Ariana and Ajava are slice and dicing the opponents.

Trigiel slowly backs away further and further towards the small other ship while Baldy slowly is breaking trough Trigiels defences. Trigiel knew that he could not longer hold this up. However, he noticed Ariana making her move and he had already prepared his plan. In his previous move, Trigiel noticed that Baldy focusses more on large slices, and less on positioning, so Trigiel is going to use that against Baldy.

The moment Baldy must defend against Ariana her attack, Trigiel catches one of the missing solar panel pieces mid air with his telekinetic powers. When Baldy tries to make his finishing move on Trigiel, the cyborg padawan moves the panel in between, physically limiting Baldys piercing potential, as he has to focus on larger sweeps to get rid of the panel.

Consequently, and entirely not incidentally Trigiel have positioned himself between the Running Man and close to the other spaceship.

I believe my attacks only off balance Baldy. If Baldy is surrendering and willing to talk we can work with that. However if he runs or is dead as well we still have the runner to talk to and the Jedi master in the ship.

((OOC: I did read Trigiel's post, but that was not an OOC question, so I didn't make the connection immediately -_- I agree with Ariana here. I also think that a lightsaber stabbed into the heart kills someone...

I don't see why Baldy would surrender. Unless I am missing something of gargantuan proportions, even with a permanent -1 wound, Baldy is a formidable adversary with Djem So and all three manoeuvres. You have been very gracious about it by silently forgoing the benefits of Baldy's manoeuvre, but Trigiel would have been dead this round if you actually applied them. A -2 off-balance penalty woudl make Trigiel incapable of actually defending against Baldy...

Although he doesn't take a DCA or Advantage action right now, so maybe his heart isn't in it right now? Of course, depending on his goals with this combat fleeing is an option as well, that would end the combat prematurely. And he would still be alive :)

Note that if you drop into narrative mode, one of us might call for a rewind if we want to actually react to things.))

Much to Ponytail's surprise, Ajava knew exactly where he was and was quickly cut to ribbons by her. Trigiel used the solar panel as an effective shield. This allowed Ariana to hit Baldy with scrap, following with a slash and a stab made him stumble backwards.

Now Trigiel was in between the ship and the running man, effectively blocking his escape. But when Baldy stumbled back Trigiel could see the running man grab something as he got up and closed the gap between him and Baldy's back. A moment later the business end of a yellow lightsaber was sticking from Baldy's chest and with a loud zoom Baldy's head was severed.

The running man deactivated his sabre again, apparently not intending to fight the jedi.

"Well thanks for the help. I'd promise to repay the favour but we're probably never going to see each other again."

While he said that the cloaked figure on the ship jumped toward the rooftop the jedi where on. The figure landed right next to the running man. Now the figure was closer the jedi saw the figure was female and pregnant. She practically radiated power, there was no doubt this woman could go head to head with a jedi master. Her face remained hidden though.
