[Unity City] Investigation of assault on prisoner transport
A while ago, a high secure Unity City prisoner transport has been assaulted while it was on their way towards the Unity High Security Prison. Before it could arrive at its destination, very dangerous criminals have been escaped. The jedi council is looking for 2 or 3 jedi to investigate what happened, and if possible, to track down the criminals and return them to Unity City.

"Ajava, T'sal," Master Monifa welcomed the two jedi knights with a small bow. "As you might have heard a while ago, one of the Unity prison transports has been assaulted." Master Monifa handed over a datapad to both Ajava and T'sal with a news issue released a long time ago. "The official statement on the news mentioned the escaped prisoners being not harmful. However, this is not completely true.
The sith apprentice you captured Ajava, Tera, was scheduled for that transport but has been freed before she reached the train.
Jedi knight Arbarox and his padawan Lortar were issued with the protection of Tera, but unfortunately, they were outgunned and outmatched. While Arbarox and padawan Lortar were tasked with finding Tera, The Unity security forces wanted to conduct their own investigation first before any jedi involvement. By now, they have finished their investigation, but were rather inconclusive.
Your task will be finding out what actually happened, and who did it.
Do you have any questions?"

"First, if the sith apprentice was freed before she reached the train, which of these two incidents do you want us to focus our efforts on? And secondly, who finished their investigation with inconclusive results? Was the Unity security investigation inconclusive, or did knigh Arbarox and padawan Lortar find nothing?"

Ajava and T'sal were able to retrieve the report from the archives. In fact, Master Gri'pan already expected them, so she had prepared the document for them.
During the fight, two figures managed to get in the car, grab Tera and get out again.
The reinforcements arrived, and they managed to clear the smoke a little. Arbarox saw the hostiles carrying Tera in a car. The reinforcements destroyed the car before it could fly away. Four persons with gas masks of which 1 carried Tera quickly escaped the car, but before the unity security forces could stop them, they captured a passing civilian car and using that as their transport, holding the civilians hostage. At the same time, the other hostiles quickly retreated in identical hover cars, but they managed to fly away. The Unity forces went after them trying to stop them.

Report Transport of Tera, Jedi knight Arbarox
The council needed a Jedi escort to safely transport the sith prisoner Tera to the Unity city prison. Jedi knight Arbarox and his padawan Lortar were send for the job.The mission
The mission was quite simple, get in the Ognid prison transport car with Tera, escort her first to the Impecuni district police department, and retrieve some other prisoners who need to be transported to the prison as well. Then transport all of them to the prison transport train, and drop Tera of in her prison cell at the prison outside the dome of Unity. The breakout of Tera
Everything went fine until the transport car was under way towards the train station. The car suddenly stopped. The jedi looked outside checking what was wrong. They were in a tunnel, there was intoxicating smoke in the tunnel, restricting their sight. The guards who went along with the jedi also stepped out of the vehicle to check what was wrong. The moment the guards stepped out, approximately 12 armed hostiles opened fire at the guards. Arbarox and Lortar immediately contacted the reinforcements waiting at the train station, before preventing the hostiles from killing the guards. The Jedi had great difficulty protecting the guards, especially since the smoke made the guards faint within a few moments. Arbarox and Lortar managed to stay concious with help of special breathing meditation with allowed them to hold their breaths for long periods of time.During the fight, two figures managed to get in the car, grab Tera and get out again.

The Chase
Arbarox and Lortar went in one of the cars from the Unity security forces, and chased after the civilian car. After a while they managed to shoot the power coupling of the repulsorlift, causing the car to go down not too hard. When the Jedi landed their car to check upon the hostiles, they were surprised that there was no Tera, but a fifth hostile of female kind. She threw some thermal grenades, while the other threw smoke bombs. The Jedi and the guards barely jumped away from the explosion, but the hostiles managed to get away. The following chase was short, as the street next to the crash site was a busy street with loads of shops. Although they tried, the Jedi could not find the hostiles in the crowd.Aftermath
Later a message from the other security cars told the Jedi that the other hostiles escaped as well. Arbarox could tell that one of the hostiles, probably the leader wore a wide cowboy hat. One of the weapons used was a rotary blaster, connected to a one of the vehicles. There was a Trandoshan present, which is remarkable since you rarely see them within Union territory. Also, one of the hostiles wore a poncho and one a bowler hat.-

After reading the report, and rereading the report, Ajava looked up.
"This report is as chaotic as they come.", she sighed.
"Fine, we'll do this the hard way. I'll go to Unity security and convince them to cough up the complete investigation report. I'm sure that with such a high-profile prisoner, they will want to get to the bottom of this as well. And since even master Monifa only got the summarized version I am sure that they have discovered some embarrasing things they'd rather not share."
"T'Sal, in the meantime, could you go and talk to knight Arbarox and see what he can remember? Maybe he has some ideas or suggestions that he left out of the report because he isn't sure. We can meet at the temple this evening to discuss our findings."
If T'Sal agrees, Ajava heads out for the Unity security building.

"The intoxicating gas in the tunnel cannot be accidental. This escape has been carefully planned and for that they needed to have some information. It indeed might be that Jediknight Arbarox has some more ideas about what has happened then has been written down. I will go and talk with him. See you tonight."
T'sal goes to look for Jediknight Arbarox to talk with him. Hopefully, he can give her more details about what has happened.

Ajava
Without much troubles, Ajava was able to find out that the investigation report was filed in the Unity Central Police Station. Ajava went to the Unity security building. There a very bored officer who had clearly no interest in his job let her through towards the archives. There neatly sitting behind a desk, an officer was keeping track of all the people accessing the materials and evidence: ((OOC: I skipped you a little through the conversation, as I believe the answers are obvious and not interesting for you to roleplay :).))
"Name ... Shebi Ajava you say ... Jedi? As if we don't have enough of those already! What do you want? ... Fine, just thinking you have the right to all the stuff you want heuh? You can have the summarised version of the report, just as I already sent towards the Temple ... You want the whole report? And why would I give you that?" It was clear this particular officer was taking his job seriously, and not all to fond of Jedi.
T'Sal
Luckily, Arbarox was at the temple at the moment. T'Sal was able to find him in one of the meditation chambers. The windows were open, and gave a nice view over Unity City with the hovercars passing by in the distance over their traffic lanes. Arbarox, a skulldarian, sat on a mediation bench, looking out of the windows, seemingly not aware or not interested in T'Sal her presence.
((OOC: T'Sal, I have no problems with it if you post several questions for Arbarox to speed this part up a little. :).))

"Simple. I recently helped your boss's boss with an investigation into the death of ex-chancellor Bolv'ar. He got a lot of the credit for solving it, since I do not care for that. I might give him a call and tell him you're obstructing an investigation by the Jedi..."
Ajava hoped that she did not have to do so, but had not mood for lowly clerks standing in the way of her investigation.
((OOC: Ajava spoke with one of the Unity Security chiefs in "Blood found".))

T'sal approaches Jedi knigh Arbarox and sits down in front of him.
"Goodday, Jedi knigh Arbarox. My name is Jedi knigh T'sal and I would like to ask you some question about the prison escort mission of Tera if you have time. Jedi knigh Shebi Ajava and myself are issued on finding her. I have read your report but is quite short and I would like to know more details as to find clues on who is behind this.
From the report I got the impression that this escape has been planned quite well, what are your thoughts and feelings about this?
Could you give a detailed description about the people involved?
I heard that one of them is supposed to be Carl Hok.
If needed T'sal has her datapad with her for looking up information or making a drawing of people.
((OOC: Okay, multiple question, these are quite general (more specific will follow are he has done his story)))

Ajava
The officer looked at Ajava a moment: "A moment, miss, let me check that." The officer activated a holophone and dialled a number. A moment later a miniature image appeared of another police officer. Ajava recognised the guy as the one she helped with during the investigation of the death of Bolv'ar.They quickly exchanged some words which was best summarised as:
"Sir, I have a Jedi here, do you know Shebi Ajava."
"Yes, she was very helpful, let her continue."
After he hung up, the officer looked back at Ajava: "Well miss, it looks like it is you lucky day. Just a moment, while F4 gets you a copy of the report." The officer shouted something to the back, and a moment later a droid on a monowheel came waddling towards Ajava with some datapads: "here-are-the-reports-you-requested-madam-jedi." It said with a monotone voice while it handed over the datapads. The officer showed Ajava a nice little office where she could sit down in all piece and quiet to study the report.
The report was actually quite extensive and quite dull, extremely dull. The summary alone was over 40 pages and perfect for reading to Gamorrean kids if you wanted them to sleep before the first sentence ends. Ithorians from Niom would love it.
With time, effort, and some skilled diagonally reading Ajava was finally able to get through what looked like the important parts of the report.Summarized, this is what Ajava found:
Actual report summary
- Somehow the Ognid car was removed out of the UTRACAS, while a fake one was moved in. Further investigation into the UTRACAS did not show up anything, but the UTRACAS was working perfectly.
- Reinforcements were called in, and arrived 1 minute and 20 seconds later, the assaulting force did not seem to have counted on such quick arrival.
- A heavy weapon, namely a rotary blaster, was smuggled into Unity City. None of the known routes and contacts of the police turned up anything.
- The 2 other escape cars were found, both in a different part of the city and both burned down to the ground.
- A thorough investigation was done to follow a money trail, but the only trail they could find was the one of which the cars were bought with, and that one quickly came to an end after the money left the Union via a bank in Komès.
- Extra notes: Thalen Voidhound was sighted in the city the same day, but he was clear... as always ... (with red was written alongside: 'Seriously, when are we finally going to nail that guy? >:( ')
- One of the other prisoners was a captured bounty hunter who was stealing diplomatic Information for the Hutt. This is the same prisoner who has been broken out during train transport.
T'Sal
Arabox sighted: "Good day T'Sal. Yes... the breakout of Tera," he said, "It was obviously well planned. By pro's too nonetheless, otherwise they would never be able to get us of the UTRACAS unnoticed. I think they knew too much, you ask for my feelings you say? I have the feeling that somebody helped them from the inside or tipped them off. It is hard to provide a good description, since it was very foggy with sedating gas. All the details I know about the looks of the people are put in the report. I cannot tell if Carl Hok was present. I only know that later that day he was spotted while a group mercenaries assaulted the train to break out some prisoners. What I do know is that these people probably were bounty hunters, the dangerous kind like the Hutt employ. They knew exactly where to shoot in order to keep both me and my padawan occupied. It might be Carl Hok, it might be somebody else. Although these kind of stunts are typical for him, I don't really believe that even he can pull of 2 heists at the same day."
