[ Yenia III ] The Execution

Shebi Ajava - PC
"I take it the governor has surrounded himself with capable guards, so both the Palace and the Battle Academy will be difficult to infiltrate. What is the terrain surrounding the Battle Academy like? The Palace is in the city, so our extraction will be easier here as we can quickly disappear in the city itself. Given that both locations are difficult to infiltrate, we should look at other factors."
-

Mercury - Storyteller
"The Battle Academy is located by the sea-side on top of a cliff - it might be possible to go in that way, or you can come in as a visitor, it has some historic architecture which is open for public viewing, though you'd still have to access the secure area where the Mandalore will visit - he's not known for caring about architecture."
-

Shebi Ajava - PC
"Is the Palace open to the public?"
-

T'Sal - PC
"What possibilities have both location for a good distraction?"
-

Mercury - Storyteller
"It is - both for tourists and for those who have business with the government, usually local industrialists or merchants. There are weapon detectors by the entrances as part of standard security."
-

Mercury - Storyteller
"Both locations can offer ample room for distractions - no doubt the other team will be able to manage such just fine in either location."
-

Shebi Ajava - PC
"Based on this information, I think that we will be best off at the Battle Academy. There is less risk of casualties among civilians, and the location is in our favour with respect to infiltration."
-

T'Sal - PC
"The sea side will hopefully also provide a good entrance and exit point. Yes, let's go with that."
-

Mercury - Storyteller
With a location chosen, the duo was no doubt ready to get going. The spy network was able to provide them with a map of the facility, as well as the most likely location of the Mandalore, so they could easily find him once the attack began. Moreover, it would provide them with any equipment they'd need ((for which I shall need a list, however))

((OOC: Is my deduction, based on the last remark, that we have not been able to bring our own equipment down to Yenia III correct? I'm asking cause I explicitly stated in the mission setup that Ajava brought a chest of gear to the Knife -- and I would like to bring my bow with me, even if only to maintain my image of a bow user :P))

Mercury - Storyteller
(( You have your own gear as well, but anything you didn't remember, you can get from the spy network. Say perhaps you need a small rubber boat or something, they have that ))

"T'Sal, at first I thought of infiltration through the tourist entrance. But I feel that your plan of entry from sea is actually better. We can scale the cliff and ambush from an unexpected entry. So make sure to bring a rebreather with you so that you can breath underwater if need be."
-

T'Sal - PC
"If we make our own entrance we do not need to go through the metal detector. We could come by sub and use jet packs to get up the cliff."

((OOC: Stupid thing, can I not look at another open window.Sorry, did I miss something?))

((OOC: nope))

"Ehm.. I haven't heard of metal detectors at the Battle Academy."
"I'd think that jetpacks would be too visible for our approach, wouldn't it be better to climb up without being detected? Also, where are you going to get a submarine vessel from?"

((OOC: Ajava's equipment: her lightsabers, Talavāra and Katāra, Her composite recurve bow, with 35 durasteel-tipped arrows, A wireless communicator headset (worn), A99 Aquata Breather, A stack of credits.
Depending on the entry route, Ajava might want to ask something from the psy network before we actually infiltrate -- I'm awaiting the result of the small discussion for that.))

"We do not have a sub-marine, but we can provide a sub-surface scuba engine. It is like a small, underwater jetski that makes swimming faster."
-

Shebi Ajava - PC
"That would be excellent."

Mercury - Storyteller
"Miss, will you be needing anything?" the spy asked of T'sal
