The Jedi had arrived safely at Yenia III, the planet where they would execute their plan, and had managed to make contact with local spies, generously provided due to efforts by earlier cabinets to set up a spy network. Perhaps it was smart to review the plan one more time amongst their number to make sure they had everything straight, and see if they needed any last minute details or such

T'sal takes a look around. She wants to investigate their surrounding and get to know the place before executing the plan.

Ajava, wearing her customary armour instead of the traditional Jedi robes, looks over the information provided by the local spies.

((OOC: I'll have to reread the actual plan. Mission setup was too long ago to fully remember... Standby.))

((OOC: Has a reason been furnished for the sudden and currently unexplained lack of Jedi on the mission? The reason that they're gone has some influence on Ajava's suggestions with regards to altering the plan.))

Yenia III was one of the Mandalorian Tax Worlds, with an extensive (:gas) and (:weapons) industry. The planet had a large metropolis on the equatorial continent, which was where the Mandalore would visit and hence where the Jedi were as well. The short winter ensured it wasn't too warm during this period, with temperatures some 25 C, and the skies were cloudy with occasional sunny patches drifting through. The Jedi were currently housed in a cellar in a residential area as guests of a local spy.

Ariana and apparently Trigiel were operating in a different part of the planet, ready to provide support doing "other things" while the real heroes did the actual work with the Mandalore - no doubt Ajava and T'sal would find a use for their support which didn't involve them being near

((OOC: We were planning to have a distraction team and an attack the Mandalore team, but now we are just 2. So I would suggest that the other are doing the distraction plan.))

Ajava gives the cellar a quick glance before turning to T'Sal.

"Seeing how it's only us two, I suggest we stick to the plan but be ready to change it if a good opportunity arises. We'll set up an ambush, wait for the distraction team to do their thing, and attack when there are less guards. If things go well, the distraction team should be able to cut of his escape or planetbound reinforcements with the fighters they plan to steal."

"Blending in shouldn't be too difficult. This city is big enough to see a lot of visitors."

T'sal has put on a Mandalorian disguise just like last time. (Hiding her pointed ear so she look human).

T'sal take a map of the area.

"We need to check out the route which the Mandalor will be taking and look for the best spot for our ambush."

"Agreed. Though we're not sure about the actual route. It might be best to see which places he is going to visit for sure, so that we have one or two options for our ambush."

She turns to the local contact. "Do we know of the Mandalore's itinerary?"

"We do. There will be a visit to the palace of the Governor - that is the guy who rules this planet on behalf of the Mandalorians, followed by an inspection of the military base ten miles North of there. The Mandalore will also be officially opening a Battle Academy - rumour has it he will be taking an anti-grav train to do this, but we have no confirmation of that. The Palace and the Battle Academy are both relatively publicly accessible, though there will be security with the Mandalore visiting and such"

Ajava thought it over for a moment.

"Ambushing a grav-train would be good for us, as it limits the amount of reinforcements. Though the distraction team would need to draw away guards before the departure, and we have to be on the train as well. That's a lot of 'ifs' for a plan. The Palace is the traditional location for these kinds of ambushes, but the Battle Academy will probably provide enough opportunities as well. What do you think T'Sal?"

"What kind of transport will he be taking. By ships? car? are there landing platform near the locations?

I am in doubt. Both location will have their own security and pro and cons.

"We aren't certain, though we strongly suspect transport shuttles from the Mandalores private Star Destroyer. That said, he may travel by hover car as well, this type of detail is not easily acquired. Each of these locations has landing platforms though."

"This Battle Academy, is that more like a military training camp, or more like an academy where people go to learn strategy and command?"

"It is a school for training officers - they learn things like war logistic, fleet management, strategic battlefield command. Combat skills are not part of training, though do not take that to mean that students are incapable of putting up a fight. Entrance into these academies is earned through combat only. Regardless, it is not a military training camp, and unlike the military base does not have much in the way of military hardware, nor does it have troops stationed there."
