After reading trough some older reports, Trigiel his eye was caught by an interesting but rather unfinished mission.

The Cyborg looked for Master Screetor for advise. When the Knight had found the master, he made sure he was not interrupting and made a formal bow: "Master, I was looking at some older mission reports when I saw the mission about training with the Xomlirga." He started. "Since the mission never was a real success, and since I must broaden my horizon, I was thinking to redo the mission and train with the Xomlirga for a while. I am very interested in what she has to learn me.

I was also pondering about brining Jaicen Heidoss. Although he is not yet officially my padawan, this would be a good start for us to get attuned to each other and this will learn him to operate in different types of as well. At the other hand, I doubt if he will be suited for the mission. He only just returned from his previous training and I believe it challenging enough for him adapting to his new environment in the Temple. Brining him to an world totally unsuited for his needs might be too challenging for this moment."

Jedi Master Screetor pondered the question by Trigiel for several minutes before turning his fish eyes towards him and nodding.

"Naturally you are welcome to visit the Xomlirga, Trigiel." he opened with a nod of approval.

"Before you make the decision to go, I would urge you to consider that Jaicen would not be well adjusted to this kind of environment. There are risks in straying so far from the civilized world for someone with his condition." he noted "And you are not exactly a natural fit for the environment yourself..." he added. "Then again, the contrast might make the experience most educational for both of you."

He pondered the matter some more.

"I would suggest Jaicen and you at least speak with Ariana and Nathan first, learning as much as possible from their efforts before you head out. Their insights, though they did not complete the mission entirely, might prove most valuable to both of you.

Does this help you?"

Trigiel first looked for Jaicen: "Greetings, young padawan." He greeted Hedoss with a small bow. "I am considering a training on a jungle planet. Since we will likely work closely together in the future I am wondering if you are interested in such a training." Trigiel let fall a short pause for Jaicen to think of the offer. "There are many difficulties though: As far I learned, the planet is a very dense jungle far away from any civilization. Navigating the planet alone will probably be a huge challenge on its own without roads and it is a long trip from any help if you get in trouble, medical or otherwise."

Jaicen could not entirely surpress his suprise that Trigiel and Jaicen were send to go to a place so far from Civilisation. "Greetings, Trigiel, thanks for the offer and I am honored to go with you as your padawan, although I am not entirely sure we are entirely in our element to train on a jungle planet. But that might be just it, since we are unsuited for it, we will learn a lot from this mission." Jaicen paused for a moment to think and after a minute he answered, "Yes, I would love to go. I will bring my medical droid along, together with my TG-100 and some repair equipment. Also I'd like to get more information on the planet, on its climate and possible inhabitants, is that allowed?."

"The reason I am unsuited for a jungle planet is the reason why I go train there. The next reason is that a person is living there under the name of Xomlirga which could teach us new ways in the force.

Knight Ariana Danacia went to the planet when she was still a Padawan together with padawan Nathan Miodrass Asillion but without much success.

Knight Shebi Ajava is much better driven in jungle environments, so I wanted to ask her if she wanted to join in, her experience would be viable for the mission. Then we could ask Nathan and Ariana about their experiences."

"Okay, I understand. I have not had the pleasure to meet Knight Shebi Ajava, but if she is suited for the mission, shouldn't she be omitted?" Jaicen responded. "If the Jedi failed the previous time I would like to know why, before we ask Ajava. I do know Ariana, shall I call her first, Knight Trigiel?"

"No, I intent to ask Shebi first. I think she will be interested to join as well, and her guidance will help us to survive the first night on the planet before we even find the Xomlirga. If she is willing to join, then she probably also would like to ask Ariana and Nathan about the planet. No doubt she will think of relevant questions we will forget. You better join me to knight Shebi, then you can get acquainted with her before the mission as well."

With that, Trigiel gestured Jaicen to join him to Ajava. On their way to wherever Ajava was, Trigiel explained: "You should know, Shebi Ajava is a Veolian from House Shebi. The Veolians, put their family name first, and own name second. However calling her by her own name only displays a certain affection towards her according to Veolian culture. Therefore you should call her Master Shebi or Master Shebi Ajava.

Which by the way brings me to the point that you should call me Master as well." Trigiel was not yet fully used to be a knight yet it seems.

As it turns out, Shebi Ajava the pair finds found her meditating in her own room.

Her room is sparsely decorated, surprisingly without a bed or bedroll. A small chest served as the only storage. On top of the small chest stood a trophy from some time ago.

She stood up and walks over to the door.

"Yes?"

"Greetings" Trigiel greeted with a formal bow, "Shebi, have you ever heard about the mission of where Ariana Danacia and padawan Nathan Miodrass Asillion went to train with the Xomlirga?

I was planning to visit the planet and undergo her training myself together with Jaicen Heidoss and I was wondering if you would be interested to join as well."

Shebi Ajava stood there, wearing her normal outfit of a single-layer light armour and metal belt. From experience Trigiel knows that she was not planning on going anywhere soon, since she is not wearing her gloves. Both her lightsabers are dangling from their attachment points on the belt, their shiny metal shells unbroken due to the lack of activation buttons. Through the open door, the two jedi could also spot Ajava's composite bow neatly stored on a small shelf on the opposite wall.

Shebi Ajava looks at Trigiel, "I have heard of it. I understood that things did not went as smoothly as hoped."

She looks at the human male in the hoverchair.

"Trigiel, it is common to introduce people...", she smiled at Trigiel before she looks at Jaicen again.

((OOC: For information to new players: Shebi Ajava pretty much looks the same as her image.))

"Apologies, this is Padawan Jaicen Hedoss." Trigiel gestured to the guy in the hoverchair, "since there is a high probability that he will become my official padawan, I invited him along for this mission."

"Jaicen, Trigiel said to the Padawan, "this is Jedi Shebi Ajava."

On the way to Shebi Ajava, Jaicen's TG-100 responded with an affirmation: "Allright Master, I trust your judgement if you think this is the wisest choice. Thanks for the information on veolian culture, Since I do not have any affection towards somebody I do not yet know I will call her by the full name. Is she a knight or a jedi master?"
After a few seconds, Jaicen TG-100 continued:
"By the way, did you recently get promoted to knighthood Fecta Trigiel?"

What a boring room Jaicen thought to himself, how does she even sleep? Maybe Veolians do not need sleep or comfort? Jaicen was sure to look up more about these veolians when he got back to his quarters.

During the initial conversation the guy in the hoverchair was quiet, letting the more experienced jedi do the talking and observing their social interaction. After the introduction by Trigiel, Jaicen tried answering with his own hampering voice which sounded like a rasp out of breath: "Hello dear Master Shebi Ajava, I am Jaicen." The word Jaicen was pronounced as Ja'quencheen. And quickly the droid behind him took over for Jaicen. "Jaicen is the name, nice to meet you. As a youngling I attended the temple and recently I have returned." If Shebi Ajava looked somewhat carefull, she could distinguish a light saber hilt on the droids belt.

"If I may comment on the mission however, my observation is that they did not succeed, because the jedi did not understand that they were already there, in the right place, since the forest is alive and everywhere on the planet and the weird woman is just a physical representation of the forest. What are your views?"

Ajava looked over the droid carefully, as if trying to discern what it actually was.

She then looked to Jaicen himself. "I am not your 'dear', padawan.", she replied tersely.

"I will reserve judgement about the forest and the Xomlirga until I have been to Exa-12. Until that moment, I see no reason to assume one thing or the other. And I'll be especially careful calling an unaligned force user a weird woman..."

"But before we go and rush to a jungle planet, I would like to know a little more about how you expect this to go. I suggest we discuss this a little later, after we have all read up on the mission and maybe asked knight Danacia or padawan Asillion about their visit? I can meet you in the gardens in an hour or so?"

"My next step was indeed to ask knight Danacia and Padawan Asillion about their experiences. I agree to meet in an hour in the gardens and I propose to go from there to Ariana and Nathan together after we read and discussed what we can expect."

"I suggest we split up the work, I'll read the full report, and you two can go ask the previous group."

((OOC: I do so in part because you can then simply send Chriz and Dragonmaster352 a PM with questions, so this thread is not slowed down by waiting for answers :P))

After Shebi Ajava's response Jaicen looks at Trigiel as if to say, what the hell did I do wrong. But Jaicen remains quiet and follows Trigiel towards Ariana and Nathan. While moving towards the pair Jaicen's droid politely asks Trigiel: "If I may ask... What did I do wrong, it was a woman, and she was doing weird ... according to human standards .... furthermore, doesn't she understand the different meanings of the word dear?" Jaicen was clearly agitated because he thought he had been being polite towards the Jedi.

"You called her 'dear', yet there was no reason to." Trigiel started to explain. "Shebi Ajava is a knight, so she is higher rank than you as padawan. Therefore you have to call her 'master' since she your superior. By calling her 'dear' you give more meaning to her than you have. You don't call me 'dear', you don't call your light saber 'dear', you don't call the Jedi Masters 'dear' and you don't call the door 'dear'. So by calling Shebi Ajava 'dear' you place her in a position where she is not. You either imply certain affections, or you belittle her. The one is unwise, the other insulting.

The Xomlirga women appears to be a powerful being. Calling a being which can defeat you with just a thought 'weird' is a very dangerous thing. If something looks stupid, but it works, it ain't stupid. The universe is big, and human standards are the least important here."

((OOC: I PM Chriz and dragonmaster with questions))

An hour later, Trigiel went to the gardens with Jaicen to meet Ajava.

((OOC: Because of forum quantum time, Ajava is not technically promoted to Master now. To presere good ordering, I suggest that we place that event between the meeting in the gardens and leaving towards Exa-12 in a few days.))

The pair quickly found Ajava already waiting in the gardens: she is meditating in one of the quiet spots. As they approach, she opens her eyes and gets up.

"Hello again.", she greets them. "Shall we sit near the pond?"

"Ow, I thought you could say dear, since you also write in letters dear. Do I also have to call somebody a master if he or she is not a Jedi master? And I never meant to insult her. I could call my lightsaber dear though!" says TG-100. "Yes I will call it from now on Dear"

"Regarding the woman, but she is weird, according to our standards, just like we are probably weird to her."

As the pair found Ajava near the garden Jaicen tries to apologise: "My excuses for calling your dear, Master Shebi Ajava, I made a mistake in my words. And Yes, the pond is allright."

Ajava looks at Jaicen for a moment, and then smiles.

"It is forgiven.", she replies.

As they arrive at the pond, she sits down on a large boulder near the pond.

"So, while we wait for Trigiel to appraise us of his inevitable analysis of the situation, I am sure you have questions, padawan Hedoss.", she looks at him with a relaxed smile.
