Dragonmaster352 - Storyteller
T'Sal and Nalan ran after the cloaked man, but that was easier said than done. Both Jedi where doing their best not to lose him through this thick part of the forest.
They managed to follow him through the thick foliage into a more open part of the forest. But when they reached the less dense forest, the man had disappeared.
The could sense something, however, there was someone nearby. Where that person was however was still unclear.

Nalan Passik - PC
"Great! now we lost him" Nalan snapped.
Not to long after that she could sense someone nearby. Could it be the one they were following?
"Stay on your guard T'sal, i have a feeling we are not alone" Nalan said and she hovered her hand near one of her lightsabers in case she needed to use them

T'Sal - PC
While Nalan looks down and around T'sal looks up. She tries to spot a nice three and jumps into it. With her height advance she has a clear view of the forest and starts looking and sensing where the man is.

T'sal jumps into a tree and looks around, but unfortunately she can't spot anyone.
((OOC: Your jump check is good and is approved. However in your second check you used both a mental and a physical attribute. This is not allowed. I reduced it to a visual check which makes your score: 8. This is to low, check: failed.))
Nalan has little luck herself but manages to spot a shadow jumping behind a tree. It's likely the person they sensed, but it's unclear if it is the cloaked man.
((OOC: Your check is approved.))
Both Jedi can feel a disturbing presence, it probably is wise to proceed with caution.

T'Sal - PC
T'sal stands in the three and looks around, but she cannot see someone. She does feel a strange presence. She waits and looks over to Nalan.
-

Nalan Passik - PC
Nalen tenses up on seeing a swift shadow
"I saw something up there near the tree, prepare yourself T'sal"
Nalan rests one of her hands on one of her lightsabers ready to draw it at a moments notice. Nalan knows they are being watched anyway so no use for silence
"Show yourself! We know your there!" she shouts in the direction where she saw the shade.

"There's no one here." was shouted back. It indeed came from where Nalan had seen something.
The voice was clearly not from the man they had met earlier. It also sounded frightened and confused.

T'Sal - PC
T'sal looks to where Nalan is looking and then hears a voice coming from behind a three. T'sal decides to let Nalan do the talking down there, while she gets closer in position to get a good view of the person. She stealthy jumps from tree to tree to find a good spot to see him but he not her.

Nalan Passik - PC
Hearing the somewhat scared voice the threat level went down for Nalan. She slowly moved her hand away from her saber and relaxed a little bit. But remained focused.
"Don't be afraid, we mean you no harm" Nalan shouted back.
Nalan wished she could see the figure to assess the situation better but it would have to wait for now. She kept looking around to see if the figure showed himself from behind the tree.

Nalan waited while T'sal moved in closer.
The person who had shouted didn't leave his hiding place.
"No ones here, so no ones afraid and there's no one to harm." The voice shouted.
T'sal had gotten close enough to see whoever it was that was hiding, he was holding on to something.

T'Sal - PC
T'sal gets into view for Nalan and tries to get her attention.
She uses signs to try to get a message across. She point toward the location he is hiding. Then make a makes motions of something being hand sized big and then holds onto it. Last is a question sign with hand up and shoulders up.

T'sal tries to signal Nalan about what she sees but Nalan seems to be in a daze.
Nalan moves closer to the tree the man is hiding behind. Suddenly the man jumps out from behind the tree and presses whatever he's holding against Nalan.
T'sal can feel something happening in the Force and sees Nalan collapse and fall to the ground, unconscious.
Hurrying to help her team-mate T'sal jumps out of the tree and takes down the man with her lightsaber. Now she can see that the object the man was holding was a polished stone with strange markings carved into it, she could also feel the stone was connected to the Force.
T'sal checked to see if Nalan was okay, but couldn't get her to wake up. Then T'sal felt a group of people approaching.
((OOC: As of this moment Nalan has been written out of the story and will not get a reward for this mission. This may seem a bit harsh but I am sick and tired of the constant periods of inactivity and I am done with warning people. T'sal this is now a solo mission and I am sorry this story has taken so long, I will start rounding it up soon.))

T'Sal - PC
((OOC: Evermourn seems to disappear sometimes without notice, so you are right to kick him out.
Btw. T'sal would not strick him with her ligth saber, but knock him out using martial arts.))
The stone seems to have a strong effect on those that touch it as Nalan is down and that men behaved strange.
Using her telekinetic power she lifts the stone and puts it in her bag out off view of the people coming.
She takes up a defense stance and awaits who is coming.

T'sal used the Force to put the stone away.
As she felt the group of people come closer she could clearly hear them. They seemed to be calling for someone.
The group came across T'sal. The group was mostly human, a few other races from within the Union where also part of the group. They wore simple traditional looking clothes and those that had hair where shaved bald. An elderly man moved to the front of the group.
"You have a strong connection to the Force, young one." The elderly man said. "I see you already encountered Jason." He gestured to the person T'sal had cut down.
"Such a shame, he was a good man before the totem got to him." Several of the group nodded in agreement.
"Is that woman a friend of yours?" The man said, pointing to Nalan. "We can help her if you wish."

T'Sal - PC
T'sal looks at the group coming towards her. As they show no hostile intent she relaxes.
"My name is padawan T'sal, nice to meet you all. She is my fellow padawan. He put the totem against her and then she collapsed.
I would really appreciate it if you could help."

"May I know where the totem is now, young jedi?"

The old man nodded. "Good. We will need to purify it before we can return it to the grave.
We could use your help." As the old man said that, the two men who were taking care of Nalan started making a rudimentary stretcher.
One of them looked at T'sal. "We will take her back to the temple."
The old man spoke again. "Deridan, take care of Jason. We can't leave him here."

"Okay, I will see what I can do to resolve this matter."
T'sal looks at with what they want to do with Jason. If needed she will help them with her telekinesis.
She follows them back to the temple.

The old man started walking signalling T'Sal to follow them. The two who where now carrying Nalan on a stretcher headed in another direction. The man called Deridan just started to wrap Jason's body in a blanket.
T'Sal followed the old man together with the rest of the group. After a while they came to an open area. There where a number of stone pillars placed in a circle on the edge of the area. In the centre was some sort of altar. The Force was very strong here. The monks sat down around the altar in a meditation posture, except for the old man. He gestured T'Sal to come closer.
"Please place the totem on the altar and join us in the circle." He said.

As T'Sal sat down the monks started chanting in an unfamiliar language. She could feel the Force shifting and changing around her, becoming increasingly more powerful.
She could feel it tucking at her like it was asking her to add her power to the mix. All she needed to do was let the Force flow through her.
((OOC: I'm terribly sorry for posting so incredibly late.))

T'sal slowly adds her power with theirs as not to disturb the balance of this ritual.

When T'Sal added her power to the ritual, the flow of the Force increased incredibly.
T'Sal could sense something changing in the totem. The totem seemed less dark and suspicious.
Then the Force started to calm down and the chanting of the monks slowed down, ending on a long deep note. The monks seemed tired and out of breath, T'Sal didn't even break a sweat. Once the monks caught their breath, the old man held his hand above the totem.
"It is done, the totem has been cleansed." He said. "Come lets return it and lay the grave to rest."
He wrapped a cloth embroidered with strange runes around the stone before giving it to T'Sal so she could put it in her bag. They started to head towards the grave. While they walked the old man told T'Sal about the blood and the body she had found earlier. It turned out Jason had gone on a rampage after being corrupted by the stone, that he had not been in control of himself. How it had been a tragic turn of events and that there was no one to blame.
After a while they arrived at the grave, the same grave T'Sal had seen earlier. The old man turned to T'Sal and bowed ritualistic.
"Would you return the Totem to it's rightful place, jedi padawan T'Sal?"

T'sal gratefully accepts the totem and puts is in place and bows.
"Thank you for your guidance. May you now rest peacefully.
Elder, could you then me more about this man and how this has come to pass?"
