The corporation for intergalactic exploration (name change pending) has Xi-Tra as its home system witch lies at sector 11,-5. Their icon is an orange infinity symbol on a black background, but my blazonry skills are lacking.

:shock: Are you sure that your skills are lacking? It seems to me they are rather impressive.

On a more serious note though, you should really use images that are 300x300 in your system (should be easy with paint.net or something like that); this has to do with the nice box around them on the wiki, and later use in other places.

Your system looks good so far, though I think you still have some resources to spend. Pending any mistakes by me, I calculate you used:

33 / 50 (:gas-mass)
82 / 100 (:rock-mass)
156 / 200 (:bio-mass)
5 / 5 (:special-point)

I also noticed you had two pages for your binary star. More players do this (*cough* Sundarian Federation *cough*), I think. The Veolian Commonwealth by contrast uses a single page for its star. I can imagine how this would be mildly confusing. The current way we should use is the one-page for both stars solution the Veolian Commonwealth uses, but actually this is not very satisfactory when taking Trinary Star into account. We might have to think about this somewhat more. For now, what you have is fine btw.

I took the liberty of adding an image to your third star (an orange main sequence image since it was an orange main sequence star but you can change it if you want :) ) and editing some minor formatting. This should make the approval process go smoothly when you're done.

You seem to have made some error in your calculations, so far I have

1x dual orange star (28 (:gas-mass) )
1x heavy gravity large planet (37 (:rock-mass) , 1 (:special-point) ) (:gold-orbit)
1x medium planet (19 (:rock-mass) ) (:gold-orbit)
1x medium homeworld with vulcanic greenhouse (19 (:rock-mass) , 2 (:special-point) ) (:cold-orbit)
1x orange main sequence star (5 (:gas-mass) , 2 (:special-point) ) (:cold-orbit)
5x large moon (35 (:rock-mass) ) (:gold-orbit)
26 zones type I atmosphere, oceans and life (156 (:bio-mass) )

this totals to 33 (:gas-mass) ,110 (:rock-mass) , 156 (:bio-mass) , 5 (:special-point)

the remaining 7 (:gas-mass) and 44 (:bio-mass) , will get me a total of 7.1 (:pop) . Since I have not populated my system yet, these are indeed left to spend.

Thanks for the help with the blazonry, but I think I will manage.

ey, system looks pretty nice, i would strongly advice against getting the tertiary (:organics) zone.
the 45 extra (:tax) you can get with it in the first (:turn) looks nice but is not worth the zone. You can get so much more (:rares) with that tertiary zone. Just build a (:organics) zone in (:turn) 1 to get the extra (:tax) from (:turn) 2...

To name it correctly the information zones on Tra-1 should have: 100 base, 50 upgrade, 40 atmoshpere I, 10 oceans, 10 climates

The rest of the zones are correct.

@Chriz While you are probably correct, the extra organics makes sure the organics production neatly fits the medicine production, so that there is no hassle if I want more medicine. If I made the tertiary zone (:rares) , the already bulky (:rares) production per zone would get even more bulky, making it hard to always have a use for the ~90 (:rares) extra this would get me.

Also the environmentalists were moaning.

@Mercury While this thread certainly has been useful, its original purpose was to get my system on the map. I still want to be in sector 11,-5, the NE corner
