New players can visit here to build a system, ask for hints and tips, discuss special options for their systems, post their new Jedi and propose skills and Force power for them.

Okay. Well that description is a bit misleading. And means I can basically toss out this entire system and start from scratch :/

Maybe I can salvage this by picking the right star, with a minimum of "there goes this idea". Sec.

Auch, sorry, that's very unfortunate :(

How would you suggest we clarify the description to prevent such a misunderstanding in the future?

The White Giant offers 3 / 2 / 2 and can with an active star special become 3 / 3 / 1 or even 3 / 4 with 2 active sun specials. You might also like the Yellow Giant Star which offers a lot more goldilocks orbits, or look into a main sequence star for more orbits.

I have added a note for clarification to the Active Sun special to prevent confusion in the future. Apologies for the inconvenience.

'Inner Asteroid Belt' is too generic for a name. Try 'Carcharoth Inner Asteroid Belt'?

(We don't want to have heaploads of unnamed 'inner/outer/middle asteroid belts/ring/circle 1/b/alpha' ^_^)

Mercury: thanks!

Brend: agreed, on the wiki it should be [[Carcharoth Inner Asteroid Belt]]. Caldossi are going to refer to it without that limitation I suppose. (Lemme edit the wiki though!)

Changes have been made!

Although we're still negotiating about the City Planet special, I'm happy with the system in its present form and would request that it be audited!

Now that I've withdrawn my request for a city planet and slapped Jackpot:Organics on Ascension, this system is def ready for an audit and hopefully to be added soon! :D

Orbittypes and specials: check out
climate combinations: no invalid combinations
applications of Bio-mass other then (:pop) : no invalidities

end count of spend resources:

Should be 38 (:gas-mass) , 72 (:rock-mass) , 200 (:bio-mass) , resulting in total (:pop) 6.0

You list an expense of 37 (:gas-mass) , which is incorrect as you star cost 33 (:gas-mass) instead of 32 (:gas-mass). This results in a lower count of left over (:bio-mass) , being 40 instead of 41.

If you choose to reduce the population as suggested, I can approve the current system and do a final check up once it listed on the wiki. If you choose to keep 6.1 (:pop) (which i would not recommend) then you need find a way to reduces your resource expenses so that it matches a left over of 41 (:bio-mass) for population.

The excess .1 Caldossi can be removed from the homeworld by the way. ;)

What happens next?

Then your proposal is approved and you start putting it on the wiki.

Once all the pages are there, I'll run another check for validation of the system.

And when that's done, and if Mercury is satisfied with New Faction: Inter-System Charter Company (with regards to sovereignty), your faction can be introduced to the Union!

Edit: And you need a senator.

Caldoss here! Already made an account for the leader. Senator and surly Ascended Circle leader are going to be made next. ;)

Don't forget to link the character pages in your faction page ^_^

Apparently, the faction builder fails there... Your faction page's data block (the thing with <data> around it) should have entries for Senator, Leader and Jedi...

Have a look at the data block for the Veolian Commonwealth -- it's a good example.

And later on, once you have everything, I can explain the Blazonry tool, and how you can use it to give your faction a small logo that is automatically watermarked on your representatives (like you see most senators have on the forum).

Everybody (including me) forgot a very very important thing: you need to pick a location for your system!

Go have a look at the map (hit the 'starting area' toggle at the bottom to get a good idea of where you can start). Keep in mind that you although you can start in a sector with someone else in it, this is only allowed if the other player agrees -- most don't really want this, as it cuts into their sovereign territory.

Well errr... Depending on your preferences you can go for 'inside' or 'outside' -- since you will be next to the Bozzy Spine anyway, you'll have less trouble with trade (the Bozzy Spine is basically a massive hyperspace highway for freighters)

Sector 11 -3 might be interesting, as well as Sector 13 -5 or 9 -7. But really, you should make up your own mind. (maybe the 'superpowers' toggle at the bottom helps you get an idea of who's where...)

Might I be allowed to start on 11-5?

EDIT: Just noticed there is a fringe world there. Still, does that mean it is permanently taken?

It's 11 -5, it's a minus, not a seperation, the map's a bit unclear to see that.

On the Fringe World part, I defer to Mercury.

Fringe worlds are generally allowed to keep their location, though we've had a common practice of removing them eventually if it is clear their player will not come back. In the past we have held a time limit of a year of inactivity.

Freekjan, the owner of the Corporation for intergalactic exploration of Xi in Sector 11 -5 has been talking about coming back and has visited the forum within the last month and has posted in September last year when he announced leaving that he would be back. I'm afraid that means the sector is still occupied at this time :(
