I wanted to post some clarification regarding the banner at the top of the page.

I originally made the space for the IC banners because I figured it would add something to the campaigning. I also believe it is nice and in the spirit of the game to see some (non-intrusive) IC banners advertising IC goods and services.

If you are against such commercial displays, you can use your favourite ad-blocker to block all images from the http://fwurg.xs4all.nl/images/banners directory - since all banners are placed there, this will effectively rid you of their presence. The banners will not be used to provide game-critical information, merely background and in-game advertising.

If you wish to advertise, please send a banner in .png format at 468px × 60px. Please try to keep in the general style of the site and don't make the colours too obtrusive ^_^. Also, no animations of any kind. Finally, I need an url to link the banner to and a mouse-over text (not too long).

Naturally all banners should be IC only.
