"Senators!" the Imperial Prince started once he had been properly announced by a servant. The prince had come to Unity himself for this announcement.

"The Union is a wonderful and glorious undertaking, meant to unite the many worlds in the galaxy in a peaceful manner. Naturally such a glorious and wondrous undertaking deserves a wonderful and glorious leader, and I, Prince Odakim, shall do my duty by providing that leadership."

The prince looked around, seeming to expect a devastating amount of applause.

"As your Chancellor, I promise to lay more power in the hands of the Senate, by opening no fewer than four votes on important topics during the upcoming electoral period.

I plan to bring new glory to the Union by improving the face of Unity itself, so that all who visit it may marvel at the accomplishments we have made here.

Moreover, I shall be personally involved in improving the defences of the Union to ensure we are all safe from future aggression by the Mandalorians, or any other faction that should seek to harm us.

With my aid, the Union shall achieve a glory and greatness it never held before, yet which it was always meant to have!"

The candidacy of Imperial Prince Odakim V of the Rising Suns of Deominius was seconded immediately after he had concluded his speech by the Senators of Niom and Excaria.

"Naturally! I will revive an old and forgotten plan to terraform the world of Unity - I do not suspect that the planet will be completely terraformed - certainly not during my term - but I believe as a collaborative effort, the Union should be able to make it an even more beautiful place than it already is. A vote will enable the Senate to decide what direction this terraformation will take."
