[Jedi Master Screetor]

Outside the door of the Jedi Council chamber, Shebi Ajava was unable to hear the discussions inside, but the topic of conversation was clear to her, as it was to the Jedi Masters inside.

"We have previously discussed Shebi Ajava, and the growth she has made in the past years. Tonight, we vote on raising her to the rank of Master. I remind all present that this vote must be unanimous. If anyone objects to her gaining the status and honour of being a Jedi Master, this is the time to speak.

Since I have put her forward as a candidate, I shall be the first to vote." Jedi Master Screetor stated "And I vote in favour of making Shebi Ajava a Jedi Master."

[Jedi Master Qun Treen]

Jedi Master Qun Treen was silent for a while before voting.

"I too vote in favour of making Shebi Ajava a Jedi Master."

[Jedi Master Monifa]

"There is no longer doubt or fear in Shebi Ajava," Monifa stated, "she has cleared the dark side. I vote in favour of making Shebi Ajava a Jedi Master."

[Master Leithor]

Master Leithor sat quietly and waited. Once he had waited for an appropriate amount of time he voted.

"I vote in favour of Shebi Ajave to become a Jedi Master. I believe she is ready."

[Quartermaster Nishra]

"Aye" Quartermaster Nishra voted

((OOC: Since the currently active masters have posted and its been a few days, I'm going to move this storyline ahead))

After the votes were registered and the administrative tasks put in motion, Jedi Master Screetor stood and moved to find Shebi Ajava waiting in the hallway. Slowly opening one of the large doors, he motioned her in, leading her towards the centre of the room and returning to his seat, though he did not sit down. Instead, he remained standing and the other Jedi Masters stood as well.

"Shebi Ajava." Master Screetor announced

"Through your actions in sparing the Mandalor, you have brought peace where emotions like vengeance and hatred ruled.

By questioning what you saw and seeking answer to those questions, you have gained knowledge, where there was ignorance.

By searching yourself and deciding on your own path, you have found serenity, where passion once overpowered.

It is the belief of the Jedi Council that in the chaos of all that you have done for the Jedi Order, you have found harmony with the Force.

The Jedi Council therefore has decided to grant to you the rank of Master, with all the privileges and responsibilities that come with this rank.

Congratulations. And may the Force always be with you."

[Shebi Ajava]

Before coming here, she had a vague idea of why she was being called to the Jedi Council, but was pleasantly surprised nonetheless.

"Thank you.", was all Shebi Ajava managed to say.

((OOC: I'm completely unaware of any further ceremony involving the elevation to jedi master, so I'm assuming it's actually a rather sober event.
