Pausing turn reports, Remaining active!

Hi everyone,
I was starting to write up my turn report for this turn, but I made you this post instead ^_^
I have more-or-less reached all possible economical goals that I can reach with the Veolian Commonwealth. They are absurdly rich, have spent 1.1 million
[1] over the course of the game, have 74k
saved up, and have all technologies that a Union member can have within the rules. They have zones that produce well above 1k raw materials each turn see [2]. They also maintain 3 military fleets, 4 armies, and 2 defence forces [3]...
The main chunk of tax I am currently spending is on
-related upgrades. As I was writing up my turn report, feeling somewhat like making my turn report has become a chore, I was struck with the strangeness of my current situation. The only reason I am investing in those is that I do not know what to do with the massive influx of
every turn. This, of course, only leads to me having even more
available in the future, and still no plan on what to do with it. Of course, I could start filling up my settlement, and start another one even. But none of those things will bring me enjoyment.
I play for the exploration, the political intrigue, and the joy of discovering strange philosophies and ideas. My main motivation for playing is not the acquisition of massive numbers. I freely admit that I like how well the Veolians are doing—but that is due to the enjoyment I derive from doing new things such as designing new technologies, and exploring how well they can do within the confines of the economic rules, and seeing how their social and philosopihical oddities and quirks work out.
I have no intention of quitting FWURG any time soon, so I have decided to stop submitting turn reports. The Veolian Commonwealth will remain economically active: any currently open trades and deals will continue on. I will simply no longer progress my projects, increase my saved credits, or reply to new trade requests.
I have spent some thought on how this will work out, and what would be a way to reduce my economical activity while being fair to everyone. As the Veolians have trade agreements with most worlds, I feel that simply humming along quietly is the best solution. If anyone feels differently, please feel free to post other options in this thread—I am open to finding another solution if anyone feels that simply not posting turn reports is unfair to anyone.
I would like to reiterate that I do not intend to quit FWURG. I will continue with Jedi missions, and where possible I will do policitical roleplay. I am also working on a draft of rules for a new incarnation of FWURG, based on all the things we have learned so far.
Hoping to continue on roleplaying with you all,
Brend
PS. I would greatly appreciate it if someone else could take over my Turn Auditor mantle.

I think we can say that, with a gross income of 7800
, the Veolians have well reached the status of NPC world-like economies ^^

Every zone in my system is upgraded, recycled, has great big domes built over it and is incorporated. The whole system outputs more than enough vehicles, construction materials and utilities for the rest of the players.
The next step would be to upgrade everything with Quintessence Field Projectors, but in order to take that step Hyperspace Nodes are needed, those can't be gotten because there are no more Sundarians to trade with, so you'd have to build those yourself (on say outposts), but outposts cannot be scanned for because all players with survey fleets are gone and you'd need to get holonet relays to make new ones. You could bootstrap the process one bit at a time yourself by refurbishing zones, but in the end I would just end up with more goods to not sell and more tax than I know what to do with (like I already have).
For me it is a combination of having accomplished enough and not having enough other players to do the economy.
I do still like fwurg and do not want to quit, so perhaps it is time for more political roleplay again. Though I do fear that I like tabletop roleplay better than forum roleplay. I am still totally excited about a new incarnation of fwurg.
I will still happily check other peoples turn reports if they want to keep making them, but I won't make my own. (this conveniently gets rid of needing a second turn checker)

I started later, so I still have economic changes, but it will be hard to make something as you need to trade.
I now almost got my
going but now I will be stuck with it.
I will continue with reports and hope that with restart I have benefit from it.

I am still available for trades or superstructure components/mtcf with the astai republic if anyone wants.
I agree that it is hard to trade with fewer and fewer active economies.
Though, to give some indication of the boringness of doing blue power upgrades: the veolians would only have increased their
output once every 3 months. And that is with full-time construction.
